Our dietetic internship will provide comprehensive rotation experiences. Students who have successfully completed a Didactic Program in Dietetics and want to become Registered Dietitian Nutritionists will rotate through supervised practice in clinical, community, business, and food service.

Goals & Objectives
- “At least 80% of interns complete program requirements within 12 months (150% of the program length)” – non-degree track.
- “At least 80% of interns complete program requirements within 24 months (150% of the program length)” – degree track.
- “At least 100% of program graduates take the CDR credentialing exam for dietitian nutritionists within 12 months of program completion.”
- The program’s one-year pass rate (graduates who pass the registration exam within one year of first attempt) on the CDR credentialing exam for dietitian nutritionists is at least 80%.
- Over a 1-year period, graduates will respond to the alumni survey. Of the respondents, ≥ 90% of will answer “yes” regarding their preparedness for creating their own paths in entry-level practice one year after DI program completion.
“Of graduates who seek employment, at least 80% are employed in nutrition and dietetics or related fields within 12 months of graduation.”
Over a 1-year period, graduates will respond to the alumni survey. Of those respondents, ≥90% will rate their overall level of leadership competence in dietetic practice/management/wellness/other related fields at or above 3.0 overall on a scale of 1-5 (high-5) one year following program completion.
Over a 1-year period, graduates will respond to the alumni survey. Of those respondents,≥90% will respond that they are improving the health of the populations they serve at or above a 3.0 overall on a scale of 1-5 (high-5) one year following program completion.
Over a 1-year period employers of graduates will respond to a survey. Of the respondents, > 90% of employers will score the graduate at or above a 3.0 on a scale of 1-5 (high-5) that they are satisfied with the graduates’ preparation for entry-level practice.
