Some interns began the program with an existing business, but many launched their ideas during the program with the support of our comprehensive business coaching and mentorship. 

NutriArt 360- Jessica Ice, RDN

Jessica Ice, a 2023 KBDI Graduate & the Pitch Night Winner of her cohort, launched NutriArt 360 shortly after graduation. She also owns a dance competition business. 

NutriArt 360 is a nutrition private practice that caters directly to dancers, dance teachers, and dance parents. At NutriArt 360 we fuel dreams, enhance resilience, and unlock full potential by bridging the gap in specialized nutrition services for artistic athletes in a supportive and body-positive environment. 

Nourishing Roots Nutrition- Brooke Harper, RDN

Brooke Harper, a 2022 KBDI Graduate, launched Nourishing Root Nutrition shortly after completing KBDI. 

Nourishing Roots Nutrition is an online nutrition counseling private practice that specializes in women’s health. We help women get to the root cause of their hormone symptoms through specialized testing, personalized nutrition, and realistic lifestyle changes. We teach women how to nourish their bodies properly, balance their hormones, and ultimately rid themselves of their symptoms. We offer 1-1 nutrition counseling, as well as an online self-paced course. 

 

Sculpt Ready- Danielle Smiley, RDN

Danielle Smiley, a 2022 KBDI graduate owns multiple businesses including her consultant business NutriDS, LLC, and her newly launched SculptReady business.  

SculptReady™ is a high touch nutrition consulting boutique that believes it is okay to want to LOOK and FEEL good. We “inspire and empower you to live confidently by YOUR design.

Plant-Based Paradise- Husna Ridha

Husna Ridha, a 2022 graduate and winner of her cohort’s business pitch night, launched her pastry business during the pandemic. 

Plant-Based Paradise began with a mission to create plant-based and allergy-friendly dessert options so that no one ever felt left out because of a food allergy or intolerance. Founder and KBDI graduate Husna Ridha now specializes in creating nostalgic, plant-based hand pies, with no high fructose corn syrup, animal by-products, or artificial flavors and colors.

KB Entertainment Nutrition- Kayla Burson, RDN

Kayla Burson, a 2023 graduate, launched her KB Entertainment shortly after graduation.
